EMBARK UGA

Embark UGA is a support network at UGA for youth who have experienced foster care or homelessness. Its aim is to help those youth succeed at UGA. Embark UGA is based at the JW Fanning Institute for Leadership Development at UGA. Free.

ASPIRE CLINIC

The ASPIRE Clinic is a unique resource that provides holistic counseling and education services to UGA and the Athens community. Some services free.

COUNSELING AND PSYCHIATRIC SERVICES (CAPS)

Counseling and Psychiatric Services (CAPS) offers short-term individual, group, and couples therapy, psychiatric evaluation and medication monitoring, psychological assessment, and makes referrals to campus and community resources when appropriate. Reduced cost for students who have paid the student health fee; grants available.

CENTER FOR COUNSELING AND PERSONAL EVALUATION

The Center for Counseling and Personal Evaluation provides professional services for a wide range of interpersonal, behavioral, and educational concerns. Housed within the UGA College of Education's Department of Counseling and Human Development Services. Sliding fee scale.

UGA COOPERATIVE EXTENSION - FINANCIAL CAPABILITY

Extension's basic financial capability programs and publications help consumers plan spending to meet needs, wants and goals today and in the future. Many services and resources free.

STUDENT CARE AND OUTREACH

Provides individualized assistance to students experiencing hardship circumstances, support to faculty and staff working with students in distress, and guidance to parents seeking help and information on behalf of their students. Free.
